On January 11, 2023, Jiangsu Shangshang Cable Group held a summary and exchange meeting on grid work for 2022. Vice General Manager Jiang Aimin, Assistant General Manager Di Hongjie, and more than 100 grid leaders, grid liaison persons, and grid leaders from departmental factories attended the meeting to comprehensively review and summarize the experience and losses of grid work in 2022, and make further arrangements for grid work in 2023.
It is understood that the grid team was initially established in early 2020. Due to the outbreak of the COVID-19, in order to do a good job in epidemic prevention, Ding Shanhua, the chairman of the group, proposed to establish a grid team in the whole company, requiring 10 people for each grid, and one team leader for each grid to ensure that epidemic prevention work can be done in place. Over the past three years, with the expansion of the company's scale, the number of grid teams has grown from over 380 when it was first established to 530 now, fully covering the entire workforce. In April of this year, the Human Resources Department upgraded the grid and utilized its advantages to do a good job in human resources work. Nowadays, grid teams have become the "information bridge" for companies to upload and issue information, the "service area" for caring for and caring for employees, and the "wish box" for employees to provide reasonable suggestions and feedback, effectively promoting the refinement and efficiency of basic management.
At the beginning of the meeting, Hu Yunke from the Human Resources Department summarized and reported on the grid work in 2022, detailing the achievements and experiences of the past year, and put forward opinions on the key points of grid work in 2023. Subsequently, representatives of the grid liaison person and the grid manager from the department and factory took the stage to speak, exchanging their gains and experiences in grid work. During the sharing, Wu Chunhui, the liaison person for grid management at the Special Cable Factory, stated that "the implementation of grid management work is an external manifestation of the strong atmosphere of the 'Shangshang Family Culture', a grassroots requirement of the company's management philosophy of 'honesty, quality, strictness, and consistency'; it is the basic extension of the brand connotation of 'doing well in every cable'; and it is also a concrete implementation of the beautiful vision of the 'strong enterprise, rich employees' of Shangshang Culture." Dai Zhanfei, the grid manager of the Rubber Cable Business Unit, said during the exchange of experience on grid work, "The grid leader is more of a role that plays the' kind-hearted person 'who considers problems from the perspective of employees. This role positioning can better connect with employees and eliminate negative factors." The negative resistance brought about by the tense work rhythm can better understand employees' thoughts and needs, providing strong support for doing human resources work well
Grid work has become a "new battlefield" for human resources work and a "strong lever" for doing grassroots work well. After listening to everyone's experience and insights, General Manager Jiang put forward several suggestions. Firstly, we should play a more active role in the grid, and better stabilize and retain employees through the grid. We should make the grid a platform for caring and helping employees, collecting employee suggestions, and valuable ideas; Secondly, all departments should attach importance to grid management, strengthen the construction of the abilities of grid leaders, and make good use of the grid platform to manage things around them; The third is to gather the energy of grassroots governance through the construction of grassroots grids. The grid should become a "smart network" for department heads and a source of grassroots management strength in the future.
Mr. Di has put forward several hopes for doing a good job in grid work in 2023. At the end of the meeting, Mr. Jiang and Mr. Di respectively presented awards and took a group photo to the winners of the "Promotion Award" and "Excellent Award" for the 2022 grid management manager.
